Labor Day - No School

Friday, September 5
Eagle Walk - This fundraiser supports the many activities provided for students by the PTA. Some of these include birthday books for all students, assemblies, and reading incentives, including Jazz Reading Month. Student were issued a large Eagle Walk pledge envelope last Friday. Please read the envelope for all the rules and guidelines.

Popcorn Day - The first Friday of each month will be popcorn day during lunch in the gym. Popcorn will be $ .50 per bag.

FYI
Alpine City installed a new crosswalk on 600 East last Friday. This will be for all students that walk or bike to school and access the school from the southeast part of the school. We are asking for parents help to train students... Anyone coming to school from the south and east of the school via 600 East, please stay on the east side of 600 East on the sidewalk until you reach the new crosswalk at 200 North. This also applies as students return home from school. Many have expressed concern as students ride bikes and walk down the middle of the road in this area. Thank you for discussing this with your children.

The September issue of The Yodeler will be out this week. Please watch for it coming home with your child. (One copy will come home with the designated family representative.)
